With so much influence coming from the 1940s and military elements, White thinks that menswear touches, in fabrications, details and tailoring, will be popular with women this fall. "There's also this 'Anglo-mania' going on with a return to wools and plaids," she said, citing what she just saw at Michael Kors show and in newcomer Doo.Ri's collections. Pants and skirts have made a dramatic comeback and there's a style for nearly every body type and taste. "The separates make much more sense for most women than dresses," she said.
