My World, which soft launched on Sept. 25, complements an eBay user's existing About Me page and provides community members with additional publishing space where they can showcase their personality and interests. Users are encouraged to add bios, blogs, photos or icons to personalize their My World page. The page will also include a user's feedback score, listings, reviews and guides, and more.
Why it matters:
My World adds stickiness to eBay.com while giving members a chance to learn more about each other.
By bringing together content and information from across eBay, My World is expected to increase the awareness and adoption of various platforms on the eBay site like Stores, Blogs, favorite searches and sellers and Review and Guides
